1967 Yamaha Grand Prix 350 YR1 While digging into the CT1C project, I always considered that my next step was a 2-stroke Yamaha twin street bike. Curiousity and hope for opportunity had me on Craigslist a couple times a week. I chanced upon a total basketcase that would be PERFECT but lost out to a bike flipper. One owner, engine pulled years ago and stored inside, rolling frame left in a shed... very rough, but perfect! Luckily he was too busy to strip it and it was placed on eBay as bought a week later. 10 days later and it was mine. My only real plan is to make this bike as awesome as was in 1967. Perhaps with reed valve top end if even possible, and definitely some expansion chambers.
